May Day Celebrations

A Wonderful Morning of May Day Celebrations for Year 1 and 2

Our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils enjoyed a truly memorable morning last week as they took part in our annual May Day Dance celebration. The event brought together children, staff and families for a joyful occasion filled with music, dancing and smiles, all helped by the beautiful sunshine that made the morning even more special.

Over recent weeks, the children have been working incredibly hard to learn and practise their dances, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork and determination throughout rehearsals. Their confidence and excitement shone through during the performance, and they should all be extremely proud of themselves for the fantastic way they represented the school.

Parents and families gathered to watch and support the children, creating a wonderful atmosphere of encouragement and celebration. It was lovely to see so many people attending and sharing in such a special moment with the pupils.

Events such as these are a fantastic opportunity for children to develop confidence, communication and performance skills, while also celebrating important traditions and enjoying experiences together as a school community. The smiles on the children’s faces throughout the morning were a true reflection of how much they enjoyed taking part.

A huge thank you must also go to our dedicated staff team, who worked hard behind the scenes to organise the event and support the children in preparing for their performances. Their commitment and encouragement helped make the morning such a success.

Well done once again to all of our Year 1 and Year 2 children for their amazing efforts — we are incredibly proud of you all!
