Application for Nursery School

Nursery applications: Please contact the school office (telephone 01283 247420 - option 1) for more details and information on how to apply for a place at our excellent nursery.

Alternatively, please fill in our online Admissions Form and someone from the Early Years team or school office will be in touch.

Some families are eligible for a total of 30 hours of early years funding. Please contact our Admissions Officer directly to discuss further. 

Applications for Primary School

The quickest and easiest way is to apply online from a PC or laptop.  You can apply online from 1st November 2026 and applications must be made by 15th January 2027. 

Please note it is essential you apply for a place even if you have an older child already attending Samuel Allsopp Primary or children who attend the Nursery. 

Parents will be notified on National Offers Day, Friday 16th April 2026

In-Year Transfer

If you wish to apply for a school place during the school year, an application can be found on Staffordshire County Council website here.  This must be returned to your chosen school, who will respond in writing to your application within 15 school days.
